Most Edmonton cleaning companies will tell you their pricing is "based on the size of your home." Then they ask you to call for a quote. Or fill out a form. Or book a walkthrough.
We do things a little differently. Our estimate calculator on this website uses a real, transparent formula — the same one we'd use if you called us on the phone. There's no hidden markup for new customers, no "this neighborhood pays more" trick. The number you see is the number we work from.
So if you want to know what house cleaning actually costs in Edmonton in 2026, here's the breakdown — with real prices for real home sizes.
The short answer
Most Edmonton homes fall into this range for a regular house clean (the recurring kind, weekly or bi-weekly):
- 1-bedroom apartment: about $160 – $200
- 2-bedroom home: about $185 – $230
- 3-bedroom home (1 bath): about $205 – $260
- 3-bedroom home (2 bath): about $235 – $300
- 4-bedroom home: about $260 – $330
A deep clean — the once-a-quarter top-to-bottom job — runs roughly 1.75x those prices. More on that below.
These are real ranges that come straight out of our estimate calculator, not industry averages. The low end of the range is what you'd pay if your home is in good shape going in. The high end is what we charge if there's more buildup than usual.
How we actually calculate it
We charge $50 per hour for our team's time. That's the rate everything else is built on. The calculator works out roughly how long a clean will take based on what's in your home:
| Component | Approximate time |
|---|---|
| Baseline (every visit) | ~40 min |
| Each bedroom | ~25 min |
| Each bathroom | ~40 min |
| Each kitchen | ~1 hour |
| Each pet living in the home | ~20 min extra |
That gives us a time estimate, multiplied by our $50/hr rate, plus a small travel fee based on where you live. Then we add a 30% buffer to the top of the range to cover homes that need more time than the formula predicts.
So for a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home in Edmonton, the math looks like this:
Baseline: 40 min
3 bedrooms: 75 min (3 × 25)
2 bathrooms: 80 min (2 × 40)
1 kitchen: 60 min
────────────────────
Total: 255 min (about 4.2 hours)
Hourly cost: $212 (4.2 × $50)
+ Travel: $25 (Edmonton)
────────────────────
Low end: $237
High end: $301 (adds 30% for condition)
That's it. No surprise markups. No "first-time customer" upcharges.
Regular cleaning vs deep cleaning prices
These are different services with different prices.
A regular clean is what most clients book on an ongoing basis — weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. The pricing above is for regular cleans.
A deep clean goes much further: inside the oven, fridge, and microwave; cabinet interiors; grout scrubbing in bathrooms; baseboards; window sills; light fixtures; and all the areas routine cleaning doesn't reach. It typically takes about 1.75x as long as a regular clean of the same home.
Here's what that looks like in real numbers:
| Home size | Regular clean | Deep clean |
|---|---|---|
| 1 bed · 1 bath | $161 – $202 | $263 – $334 |
| 2 bed · 1 bath | $183 – $230 | $301 – $384 |
| 3 bed · 1 bath | $204 – $258 | $338 – $432 |
| 3 bed · 2 bath | $237 – $301 | $396 – $507 |
| 4 bed · 2 bath | $258 – $328 | $433 – $555 |
| 4 bed · 3 bath | $291 – $371 | $490 – $630 |
| 5 bed · 3 bath | $313 – $399 | $528 – $679 |
Practical tip: If we've never cleaned your home before, we usually recommend starting with a deep clean to get the place to a baseline. After that, regular cleans maintain the level — much cheaper, much faster.
Add-ons that change the price
Some things aren't included in the standard clean and get added on if you request them:
- Inside the oven — adds about 40 min (~$33)
- Inside the fridge — adds about 25 min (~$22)
- Interior windows — about 10 min per window (~$8 each)
- Blinds — about 20 min per set (~$17 each)
- Carpet shampooing per room — about 25 min (~$22)
Most clients don't add anything to a regular clean. Add-ons make more sense on a deep clean or move-out clean.
What we charge for travel
Travel fee is added once per visit, based on the city you're in:
| Service area | Travel fee |
|---|---|
| Edmonton | $25 |
| Sherwood Park | $25 |
| St. Albert | $15 |
| Acheson | $15 |
| Fort Saskatchewan | $35 |
| Spruce Grove | $35 |
| Leduc | $35 |
That covers the time it takes us to get to you. Not a hidden markup — it's listed right in the estimate calculator.
What's NOT in the price
A few things to be upfront about:
- Cleaning supplies are included. We bring everything. You don't need to buy anything.
- Eco-friendly, non-toxic products are standard — not an upcharge. Other Edmonton companies sometimes charge extra for "green" products. We don't.
- The $125 minimum is the lowest we'll charge for any single clean. Even a one-bedroom condo hits $125 before travel.
- Same-day cleaning (when available) costs the same as a regularly scheduled clean. We don't charge a rush fee.
Why some Edmonton companies cost more (or less)
You'll see a range of prices for Edmonton cleaning services — anywhere from $100 to $500+ for a single visit. The big variables are:
- Hourly vs flat-rate: Hourly cleaners (often $40 – $55/hr) sound cheaper but can drag a job out. We use flat-rate by home size so the price doesn't change based on speed.
- Insurance and bonding: Insured, professional teams cost more than someone working off the books — but you'd be on the hook if something goes wrong with the latter.
- Whether eco-friendly products are an upcharge. Many companies use harsh chemical cleaners by default and charge extra for "green" service. Ours are standard.
- Frequency discounts: Recurring weekly or bi-weekly cleans are usually cheaper per visit than one-time bookings, because there's less buildup between visits.
We sit roughly in the middle of the Edmonton market. We're not the cheapest — the cheapest is usually either an under-insured individual or a company cutting corners on products. We're also not the most expensive — those tend to be franchises with overhead we don't have.
What you're paying for at our price point is: insured team, eco-friendly products as standard, owner-operated quality control, and the same team every visit if you book recurring.

You'll see a price range immediately. No email signup. No phone call required. If you decide to book, you fill in your contact details on the same form and we get back to you to confirm.
Or just call us at (587) 778-4567 and we'll quote it for you the old-fashioned way.
A note on the range
Every price above is shown as a low-to-high range — for example, $237 – $301 for a 3BR 2BA. The low end assumes a home that's been maintained recently. The high end accounts for homes that need extra time (more dust, grime, larger furniture to clean around, that kind of thing).
Your final price is confirmed before your first visit, after we've heard a bit about your home. The range is a real range, not a "starting from" trick.
That's how we do it. Honest pricing, no surprises, no haggling. If you have questions about anything above, send us a message or call (587) 778-4567 — same number Svitlana picks up herself.
